ABQSQL board presents Lightning Talks

Speaker: Chris Hyde, Owner and Principal Consultant Hydrate Consulting LLC

Summary: This month's meeting will feature a selection of multiple bite size topics presented by a few of our local PASS board members. Here are descriptions of just two of the topics we will cover: *SQL Server Free Tools: In this 15 minute lighting talk we will discuss the plethora of free tools out there for SQL Server. We will cover areas such as development, administration and performance monitoring. *Interviews: Job interviewing never seems to get any easier - even when you have gone on more interviews than you can count. You are always meeting new people, having to sell yourself and your skills, and often getting the third degree about what you know or don't know. And, you have to stay upbeat and enthusiastic throughout each interview. That said, there are ways to make a job interview much less stressful. We will talk about some tips and best practices for job interviewing.

About Chris: Chris Hyde is an independent SQL Server BI and DBA consultant based in Albuquerque, NM, and is the leader of the Albuquerque PASS local user group. He is a part of the Friends of Redgate program and was recently named in the Idera ACE class of 2018.  He loves loud music and cricket, but not usually at the same time.
